The Indian cricket team and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli described the stampede during the Victory Parade outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium on 4 June on 4 June. 11 people were killed and several fans were injured in the accident. RCB invited fans to join the celebration through social media, after which a huge crowd gathered. But due to lack of proper arrangements, the crowd became uncontrollable.
Karnataka government blamed RCB On July 17, RCB was held responsible for the accident in the Karnataka government’s investigation report. Virat Kohli was also mentioned in it. The report said that RCB did not take permission for the Victory Parade held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
However, the government also said that the sudden cancellation of the event could have provoked violence and law and order in the city could have deteriorated.

The dead include Divyanshi (13), Doresha (32), Bhumik (20), Sahana (25), Akshata (27), Manoj (33), Shravan (20), Devi (29), Shivalinga (17), Chinnaiya (19) and Prajwal (20).
