In this, the Haryana team in the matches held on Friday, defeated the Maharashtra player in the single category of the foil event and entered the semi -finals, but could not win the final match, so had to be content with the silver medal itself. After this, Prachi Saini won the gold medal while playing at the team event, defeating the Chandigarh team.
Prachi Saini has won 40 to 45 medals
Prachi’s father Praveen Saini said that she has won 40 to 45 medals so far. Prachi has represented the country five times in the Asian Championships and World Championships at the International Level five times. Prachi has won the medal by playing in the upper age group besides her age group.
Prachi has been a DAV school student. Primary coaches Deepak and Dinesh made Prachi practice well, due to which he has achieved these achievements. At present, Prachi is taking coaching on the victorious Bharat Sports Academy under the banner of Khelo India in Ahmedabad. On Prachi’s victory, family members celebrated and distributed sweets.
