Many people were making fake sports certificates to get a government job in Haryana. The Haryana Olympic Association has now taken steps on this.

The Sangh has given clear instructions to all the sports associations and district sports officials of the state that now it will be mandatory to enter his date of birth and Aadhaar card number while issuing sports certificates to any player. Along with this, the name of the player’s parents will also be written in the certificate.
Not only this, the certificate of the players coming to the merit will be properly examined and only then they will be distributed. After this initiative, the ways of fraudsters will be closed and only real players will get the benefit of this.

Why did you have to take such a decision Constant complaints were received to the government regarding fake sports certificates in government jobs. After this, the then Sports Director General Sanjeev Verma conducted an inquiry, then it was found that 76 sports gradation certificates are suspicious.
The Sports Directorate’s Gradation Verification Committee has recommended to cancel all these certificates as fake.
Surprisingly, sports sub -directors who have been ordered to cancel these certificates of Grade C and Grade D were found involved in issuing these fake certificates.
2018 from 2018 to 2022 was released On the basis of these sports certificates, government jobs have been obtained from sports quota. On behalf of the Sports Deputy Director Manjit Singh, while sending a list of 76 players with suspected certificates to the sports sub -directors of Ambala, Rohtak, Gurugram and Hisar, it was said that the gradation verification committee constituted in the Directorate of Gradeation Certificate issued by his offices was investigated.
In the investigation, these certificates have been found against the rules. All these certificates have been released between 2018 and 2022.
Government job from sports quota The Haryana government has made a policy to provide government jobs to the players under sports quota. In this policy, the state governments have been making changes as per their convenience from time to time. Based on participation and medal in various types of sports, gradation certificates of players are given.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini’s government has restored jobs provided under sports quota in many departments. Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal’s government started to appoint deputy director directly in the sports department.
Hooda government had directly recruited The Congress government, led by former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda, started installing Olympic, Commonwealth and Asian Games winners directly to the police to install DSP, Inspector and Sub-Inspector. In the first term of the Manohar government, it was also decided to amend this policy and install medal winning players in addition to HPS.
New posts created in Manohar government The decision of the Part-One Government in the Manohar Part-Two government in Haryana was changed. Then new posts of deputy director were created in the sports department itself. Now Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has restored sports quota jobs in many departments. The players whose certificates will be canceled, will now have to make their certificate as per the notified sports policy of Haryana on 25 May 2018.
Grade-C fake certificate with 27 players Apart from the Sports Deputy Directors, the Sports Department has also sent a list of players with these suspected certificates to the district sports officials of 15 districts. These districts include Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Palwal, Panipat, Rohtak and Sonipat.
Among the 76 players whose gradation certificate has been questioned, 27 players have ‘Grade-C’ certificates and the rest have ‘Grade-D’ certificates.
