The Patiala House Court of Delhi closed the case, acquitting Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh in a sexual exploitation case from a minor wrestler. In the last hearing, the minor was overturned by his statement. After which the court took this decision.
The minor had said during a closed room hearing on August 1, 2023 that he had made these allegations under some political or emotional pressure. No such incident happened. In which she considers herself a victim. Following this statement, the court considered it a ‘serious convertible evidence’.
The minor wrestler admitted that he was satisfied with the Delhi Police investigation. He has no objection to the closure report. Delhi Police filed a closure report in the case on 15 June 2023.
