Afghanistan has won the last two ODI series against Bangladesh.
After the Asia Cup, a series of three ODIs and three T20 matches will be played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan in UAE in October.
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) will host it. The Asia Cup is being played in UAE from 9 to 28 September.
A statement issued by the Afghanistan Cricket Board stated that after the Asia Cup, Bangladesh team will stay in the UAE and play three T20 and three ODI series with Afghanistan. T20 matches will be played on 2, 3 and 5 October, while ODIs will be played on 8, 11 and 14 October. However, ACB has not yet announced the grounds for these matches.
