The International Cricket Council (ICC) has appointed 18 matches for the Women’s ODI World Cup (14 umpire and four referee). For the first time in the 52 -year history of the tournament, all the matches and umpire women will be women. The Women’s ODI Cup will be played in India and Sri Lanka from 30 September. The first match of the tournament will be between India and Sri Lanka in Guwahati.

World Cup prize money more than men The prize money of the tournament has increased more than men. The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced it on 1 September. According to this, a total of 13.88 million dollars (about 122 crore rupees) will be distributed in the Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. About 10 million US dollars (Rs 83 crore) were distributed during the Men’s ODI World Cup played in India in 2023.
