Indian women’s team captain Harmanpreet Kaur has said that her team wants to end the drought of the ICC Trophy in the Women’s World Cup starting next month and the whole of India is waiting to win our World Cup. He said- From the series against Australia, we will get an idea of our preparations where we are standing.
Harmanpreet said these things in the launching ceremony of the Women’s ODI World Cup to be held in India from 30 September on Monday. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, ICC chairman Jai Shah and BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia were also present on the occasion.
The Indian women’s team has never won the World Cup. The team traveled to the final in 2017, but the team was a runnerup after losing to England.

Harmanpreet said-
We want to break the barrier that all Indians are waiting for. World Cups are always special, I always want to do something special for my country. Whenever I see Yuvi Bhaiya (Yuvraj Singh), I get a lot of inspiration.
The Indian women’s team will play 3 ODI home series against Australia just before the World Cup. On this, Harman said-
Playing against Australia is always challenging. This shows us our situation. This series will give us a lot of confidence. We are working hard in our training camp and its results are also being received.
Recalling the innings of 171 runs against Australia in his 2017 World Cup, Harmanpreet said-
That innings was really special for me and the entire women’s cricket. A lot changed for me after that innings. When we came back to India, even though we lost, many people were waiting for us and were increasing our enthusiasm. Even today my hair stands up.
Australia’s visit to India will start from 14 September The Australian team will visit India just before the Women’s World Cup starts. Starting on 14 September, 3 ODIs will be played in this tour.
