UPSC has released the Civil Services Prelims 2025 Examination Papers on 25 May. Both papers of prelims are multiple choices. A total of 2 hours time is available for Paper 1 with 80 questions. At the same time, 100 questions were asked in Paper 2.

Students who have appeared in the exam can visit the official website and download the Quashchan paper. Question paper includes questions about what is used in the battery of electric vehicles and what are the sources of RBI income. Students preparing for civil service exams can also practice by downloading exam papers.

Most of the science questions were based on currency affairs

A total of 14 questions were asked in Paper 1 and 15 questions of Environment and Ecology.

Current Affairs and General Science got mixed questions in Science, which had questions related to space, energy, technology, AI and defense technology.

Most of the questions were asked facts based. Students who do not know the concepts of science, but they have read current affairs well, they can also answer these questions.

The questions of the Environment and Ecology were related to climate change, pollution and biodiversity like previous years. In this, questions were asked from both concepts and current affairs. It must have been easy for the students who have studied well in foundation classes and have noticed current affairs.

Polity section was easy

Indian Constitution and some questions were related to the recent changes in the Polity section. This year’s polity section was easier than the rest of the years. Most of the questions were basic and direct. Those who will be basic clarity about the Constitution and NCERT can easily solve them.

CSAT is the most difficult, cut-off will come down

CSAT was difficult to compared to last year. Very few questions were asked from routine topics such as Permutations and Combinations. Reading Comprehensiveness and Arithmetic Sections were tricks and time consuming. Maths Landi was in which one question had to be spent for a long time. This paper will bring down the cut-off of GS.

Topics such as number systems and philosophical passages have been well prepared by aspirants must have performed well in this section. It seemed that UPSC wants aspirants this time who have good General Aptitude and Mathematical Skills. The paper was definitely difficult but people with good preparations must have solved it.
