This is the statement of Patna Central SP Sweety Sehrawat, which she gave after water cannon and lathicharge on students demanding re-conduct of BPSC CCE 2024 exam.
Sweety is dealing with BPSC students

Heavy police force was deployed to control the protesters at Gandhi Maidan and JP Golambar. When the protest started turning violent, they used lathi charge and water cannon to control the situation.
During this time, he also had an argument with Prashant Kishore, after which Prashant Kishore returned from the spot.
She has been in controversy before too
After becoming IPS, Sweety was posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Aurangabad district of Bihar. In September 2023, a video of Sweety Sehrawat went viral on social media.
In the video, she was talking to former Kerala Governor and retired IPS officer Nikhil Kumar. Nikhil Kumar had met him regarding the increasing incidents of theft. Then Sweety Sehrawat had said that she does not meet anyone at her residence. There is also something called privacy.
Became IAS to fulfill father’s wish
Sweety Sehrawat studied engineering from Delhi. His father was a head constable in Delhi Police who died in a road accident in 2013. Sweety’s father wanted to see her in IPS uniform.
After completing her engineering studies, Sweety started working as a design engineer in a company. But the thought of fulfilling his father’s dream was always in his mind. One day he decided to leave his job and devote full time to UPSC preparation.
In the year 2019, Sweety joined Bihar cadre by securing 187 rank in Civil Services Exam. Sweety’s brother Harish Sehrawat is a sub-inspector in CISF.
