Virat Kohli has passed the fitness test under the supervision of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in London. He sought permission from BCCI to give fitness test in London. The test took place under the supervision of BCCI’s physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach.

Prior to Virat, 38 -year -old Rohit Sharma passed the fitness test at the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. The ODI captain also successfully completed the Bronco Test with Yo-Yo.

Rohit and Bumrah have also passed a fitness test India’s Asia Cup players participated in the pre-season fitness test held in Bengaluru. Vice-captain Shubman Gill, Jaspreet Bumrah, Mohammad Siraj, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur also passed their fitness tests.

Question on Virat’s fitness test in London Questions are being raised about Virat Kohli giving fitness test in London instead of Bengaluru. Other players of the Indian team were present for their fitness test in BCCI’s Center of Excellence (CO) Bengaluru on 29 August.

Virat with family in London Virat Kohli is currently living in England with his family and practicing there. He retired from Test cricket before the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy. Earlier, after the 2024 T20 World Cup final, he also retired from T20 format with Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja. Currently Virat is playing only ODI cricket. They may be part of the Indian team in the ODI series against Australia in October-November.

Second phase in September BCCI has set the second phase of fitness test in September, with K.L. Players like Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy will be examined.
