1. PM Modi unveiled development projects worth Rs 6,640 crore Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 15 unveiled development projects worth Rs 6,640 crore in Bihar’s Jamui district. The PM had reached Jamui to participate in a function organized on the 150th birth anniversary of Birsa Munda, which is celebrated as ‘Tribal Pride Day’.
On the occasion, PM Modi also released a commemorative coin and postage stamp in Munda’s honour.
2. India successfully tests Pinak rocket launcher India has successfully tested ‘Pinaka Weapon System’. This test was done by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO). During testing, its firepower, accuracy and power to attack multiple targets simultaneously were tested.
Pinak Rocket Launcher System is named after ‘Pinak’, the bow of Lord Shiva.

1. Recruitment for 4572 posts in National Rural Recreation Mission National Rural Recreation Mission Society (NRRMS) has invited applications for more than 4000 posts. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website nrrmsvacancy.in.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation and Post Graduation degree from any recognized institute with work experience.
Age Limit :
18 – 23 years
Fees :
- General, OBC, MOBC: Rs 350
- SC, ST: Rs 250
- For valid BPA certificate holders: Rs 250

2. Recruitment for 935 posts including Anganwadi assistant in Patna. Social Welfare Department, Bihar, Patna has issued recruitment for the posts of Anganwadi worker/assistant. Candidates can apply through online mode by visiting the official website patna.nic.in.
The appointment of the candidates will be from the time of joining till the age of 65 years. After this she herself will be relieved from service. Through this recruitment, 935 posts will be filled in various wards of Patna district.
If there is no eligible female candidate in the reserve category of the vacant ward, candidates from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Extremely Backward Class (including minorities), Backward Class (including minorities), General category will be selected.
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass.
- Experience of working as an assistant for at least 5 years.
- Anganwadi helpers can also apply for the post of Sevika.

- 18 – 35 years
- The candidate should be a resident of the ward for which he/she is applying.

1. Now you can do graduation in just 2 years Students will be able to increase or decrease the course duration for graduation from the next academic year. The University Grants Commission (UGC) is working on a new flexible approach to completing graduation degrees from the 2025-26 academic year. Under this, students will be able to reduce the graduation degree which takes 3 to 4 years to complete in two to two and a half years.
This information was given by UGC Chairman M. Jagadish Kumar in a program of IIT Madras on Thursday. IIT Madras Director V Kamakoti had suggested this policy. UGC has been working on this for a long time.
2. UPSC Prelims Exam will be held on 22nd December Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the new date of PCS Prelims Exam. This exam will now be conducted on the same day on 22nd December. This exam was earlier to be held on 7th and 8th December, but after the students’ agitation, the Commission had decided to conduct it on a single day. Students were protesting in Prayagraj since 11 November. Their demand was that the exam should be held on the same day and there should be no normalization. These demands of the students were accepted by the Commission yesterday.
3. Select IAS from management school – Narayan Murthy Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy has suggested a new formula for the appointment of civil servants. He said that PM Modi can consider selecting civil service officers from management schools instead of relying on UPSC exams. He said that the system of appointment in civil services has been the same since 1858 and there is a need to bring changes.
