Punjabi rapper Shubh becomes global brand ambassador of UN Punjabi rapper Shubh has been chosen by the United Nations as the Global Brand Ambassador of the UNFCCC Digital Climate Advisory on 20 November. They now join the prestigious list of global celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, David Beckham, Coldplay, BTS, Billie Eilish, Don Cheadle, Shailene Woodley, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who collaborate with the UNFCCC on climate change initiatives. This announcement was made at the United Nations Climate Conference COP29 held in Baku Azerbaijan.
The ‘United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)’ believes that Shubh’s music is not only a means of entertainment, but he can also use his art and platform to raise awareness on social issues.
2. India won the final of the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship
India has captured the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship trophy held in Rajgir, Bihar. In the final match held on 20 November, Team India defeated China 1-0. Earlier, India had won the Asian Champions Trophy in Ranchi in 2023 and Singapore in 2016.
India has won the Asian Champions Trophy for the second consecutive time and third time overall.

1. JEE Mains last date tomorrow
NTA has issued a notice on its official website regarding the last date of JEE Mains 2025 January Session-1. National Testing Agency (NTA) has made it clear that the last date to apply will not be extended. The last date to apply for JEE Mains Session 1 exam is November 22, 2024.
The correction window will be opened from 26 to 27 November 2024. The first session of the exam will be held from 22 to 31 January 2025, in which students will appear for admission to engineering and architecture programs in top institutes including NITs and IIITs.
2. UP Police Recruitment Result released
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the result of UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024. Candidates who had appeared for the written examination can check the result by visiting the official website of UPPBPB, uppbpb.gov.in.
3. IGNOU extended the date of registration for PhD program
IGNOU i.e. Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the last date for registration of PhD program. Candidates can now register by visiting ignouadm.samarth.edu.in till 25th November. To apply for this, candidates must be UGC NET qualified. To fill the online application, candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 1,000.
