1. PM Modi received Kuwait’s highest honor
On December 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been honored with the highest honor ‘Order of Mubarak Al Kabir’ on the second day of his visit to Kuwait. He was given this honor by the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Modi is the first Indian PM to receive this honour. This is the 20th international honor that Modi is receiving from any country. The Order of Mubarak Al Kabir is a knighthood order of Kuwait. This award is given to heads of state and foreign rulers and members of foreign royal families as a token of friendship.
PM Modi was given a guard of honor at Bayan Palace.
2. Trump appointed Shriram Krishnan as AI policy advisor
Indian-origin businessman and venture capitalist Sriram Krishnan was appointed Senior Policy Advisor to the White House on Artificial Intelligence (AI). America’s newly elected President Donald Trump announced this on December 22.
Sriram Krishnan is currently a partner in the venture capital firm Andreessen Horiwitz.

1. Recruitment for 2702 posts of UPSSSC, application starts from today.
Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, UPSSSC has released the recruitment notification for 2702 posts of Junior Assistant. The application for this recruitment will start from today i.e. 23rd December. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website upsssc.gov.in.
The application window for Mains Exam under this recruitment will open on December 23, 2024 and will close on January 22, 2025. The last date for online payment of fees is January 22, 2025 and the examination will be conducted on January 29, 2025.
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass.
- Must have UPSSSC PET 2023 Score Card.
Age Limit:
- 18 – 40 years
- Reserve category candidates have been given relaxation in upper age limit.
Fees :
General, SC/ ST and PWD candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 25.
Salary :
21700 – 69100 rupees per month
2. Recruitment for many posts including Deputy General Manager, Official Language Officer in REC
REC Limited has issued recruitment notification for 74 posts including Deputy General Manager/Chief Manager. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website recindia.nic.in.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Tech/M.Tech degree in Electronics from a recognized university.
- Experience certificate as per post should be before the date of application.

1. GATE 2025 will be held in February
IIT Roorkee has released the timetable for GATE 2025. The exam will be held on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025 in two sessions every day. The first session will be from 9.30 am to 12.30 noon and the second session will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The complete schedule of GATE 2025 can be seen at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. Delhi Police will provide training to teachers
Delhi Police will now provide training to teachers and school staff to deal with fake bomb threats. In fact, recently many schools in Delhi received bomb threats, after which Delhi Police has decided to provide this training. Under this, a seminar will be organized for government and private school teachers in collaboration with the Education Department.
