UPSC has released the final result of Civil Service Exam 2024. Prayagraj’s Shakti Dubey has become an all India topper. A total of 1009 candidates are named in the merit list. Merit list official website upsc.gov.in Has been released on.
The details of the toppers are like this-
Rank 1 – Shakti Dubey of Prayagraj of UP has topped All India. Shakti has graduated in biochemistry from Allahabad University. Political science and international relationships were his optional subjects in the examination. This was his 5th Atmpt. In the last Atmpt, she was left clear from number 12. His father’s name is Devendra Dubey.
Rank 2 – Harshita Goyal is on Air 2. Harshita is originally from Haryana and has been living in Vadodara, Gujarat for many years. Harshita was born in Haryana. After this, the family came to Vadodara in Gujarat, here she grew up. He is a CA from qualification. Harshita has worked with the Bilif Foundation of Ahmedabad for children with Thalassemia and cancer.
Rank 3 – Archit has a BTech degree from VIT, Vellore to Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He had an optional subject Philosophy (philosophy).
Rank 4 – Margi, a BTEC degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad, has secured the fourth place as an alternative subject.
Rank 5 – Akash Garg, who holds a BTech degree in computer science and engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, has been ranked 5th with Sociology as an alternative subject.
Rank 6 – Komal hails from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. In the intermediate examination, he got 97% marks and topped the district. After this he has done B.Tech from IIT Roorkee.
Rank 7 – Ayushi was born in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Both mother and father worked in LIC. When she was in 5th grade, her father passed away. She came to Delhi for IIT’s preparation. Worked here at McKenzie & Company. In 2022, the UPSC CSE preparation started by quit jobs. Ayushi secured 97th rank in UPSC 2023 and 188th in 2022.
Rank 8 – Raj Krishna Jha hails from Sitamarhi in Bihar. He was schooling from Japa District in Nepal. After 12th studies from Bihar Board, B.Tech was done in Motilal National Institute of Technology in Macharanical Engineering. Then joined Hindustan Petroleum in the year 2018. Was working in Kolhapur right now.
Rank 9 – Aditya hails from Bahadurgarh, Haryana. He did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Allahabad. Has done In UPSC, anthropology was kept by the optional subject of Mains.
Rank 10 – Mayank is from Kannauj in UP. Mayank secured 337 rank in his first Atmpt. This time he has got 10th rank in his second Atmpt. Earlier, he was selected as DSP under UP PCS. His father is the principal assistant in the collectorate.
11 women and 14 men in top 25 candidates
3 girls have made it to the top 5 of UPSC toppers. At the same time, 4 girls are included in the top 10. UPSC said that the toppers have graduated in Engineering, Humanities, Science, Commerce, Medical Science and Architects from IIT, NIT, VIT, JNU, Delhi University and Allahabad University.
5.8 lakh candidates gave UPSC 2025 Examination
The UPSC Civil Service Examination was held on 16 June last year. A total of 9,92,599 candidates had applied for this examination, out of which 5,83,213 candidates appeared in the examination.
A total of 14,627 candidates were found eligible for the written (main) examination which was held in September 2024. Of these, 2,845 candidates were selected for the interview. Of these, 1,009 candidates (725 men and 284 women) have been recommended by the Commission for appointment in various services.
The UPSC CSE Prelims Exam was held on June 16, 2024, while the Mains exam was held from September 20 to 29, 2024. At the same time, the interview was held from January to April 2025.
