1. National Conference organized on National Clean Air Program (NCAP) in Gorakhpur
It was organized in Gorakhpur from 11 to 13 March.
The National Conference was organized at the National Clean Air Program (NCAP) in Gorakhpur from 11 to 13 March 2025. The conference emphasized the coordination of technology and public awareness for bringing carbon emissions to a minimum level and for environmental protection.
- In this conference itself, it was also discussed to prepare the right strategy to free Gorakhpur from burning garbage in the open by 2027.
- The conference was organized with the joint effort of Gorakhpur Municipal Corporation and WRI India.
2. All Municipal Corporation of Uttar Pradesh will become solar city
All municipal corporations will be developed as solar city on the lines of Ayodhya.
- On March 13, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to develop all 17 municipal corporations of the state as solar city.
- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced this at the National Conference held on 13 March at the National Clean Air Program held in Gorakhpur.
- The government has taken this step to promote environmental protection and green energy.
3. UP government will develop heritage buildings as hotels
On March 12, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to develop 3 heritage buildings of the state as a hotel.
On March 12, a agreement was reached between Prakhar Mishra (right) of Uttar Pradesh Prakhar Mishra (right) and Golden Triangle Fort and Palace Private Limited, Manvendra Singh Shekhawat (left) to convert the three buildings into a hotel.
- All three buildings will be developed as a heritage hotel on the lines of Suryagarh in Jaisalmer.
- These are the three heritage buildings-Roshan-ud-Daula in Lucknow, Chhatar Manzil and Chunar Fort in Mirzapur district.
- Such a decision has been made to revive the state’s heritage properties and restore their old pride as well as to increase revenue.
- This initiative will promote heritage tourism in Uttar Pradesh.
4. Employment zone will be formed in all districts of Uttar Pradesh

- On March 12, the Uttar Pradesh government announced the establishment of an employment zone in all the districts of the state.
- Through this zone, youth will be provided with placement and career counseling facility.
- The objective of the government is to provide employment to the youth in the home district itself.
5. Indus Action for Labor Welfare System and Agreement in UP Government
The agreement between the Indus Action Group and the Government of Uttar Pradesh was in Lucknow for 3 years.
- On March 12, the UP government tied up with the Indus Action Group to strengthen the labor welfare system.
- This agreement will make it easier for crores of workers of the unorganized sector to access the social security benefits of the Uttar Pradesh government.
- According to the agreement, the Indus Group will help modernize the current labor welfare system of the state government through digital and modern technology.
