- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the festival.
- This festival is being organized in collaboration with Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department.

2. Naval practice Varun- 2025: From 19 to 22 March 2025, bilateral naval exercises of India and France, Varun – 2025 are being held.
In 2001, this naval practice Varun started.
- This is the 23rd edition of this naval practice.

- The 3 -day program is jointly organizing the Union Ministry of MSME and the Confederation of Indian Industry.
- The purpose of this expo is to encourage micro, small and medium enterprises of India and especially North India and promote the latest techniques and business prospects in various industrial areas.
- This expo will include delegations from more than 34 countries.
4. India organized ‘India 2047: Climate-Flexible Future Construction’ conference in New Delhi: A conference is being held on the topic ‘India 2047: Climate-Future Future Building’ from 19 to 22 March 2025 in New Delhi.
The conference will work to identify major challenges in environmental adaptation.
- The conference is being organized by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Harvard University, the US Institutes- Institute for Climate and Sustainable and Laxmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute.
- This conference will bring together the government, academics, civil society, private sector and other relevant stakeholders to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and cooperation to deal with the challenges caused by climate change.
5. Organizing ‘Bharat Innovation Summit – Lead for TB Eradication’ in New Delhi: From 18 to 19 March 2025, the Bharat Innovation Summit – Summit for TB eradication was organized in New Delhi.
On March 18, 2025, the conference was inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Anupriya Patel.
- The summit was jointly organized by the Health Research Department-Indian Council of Medical Research (DHR-ICMR) and the Central TB Division (CTD), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
- The purpose of this summit is to speed up India’s progress towards TB eradication by 2025.

6. Sunita Williams returned from space: On March 19, 2025, Indian -origin astronaut Sunita Williams returned to Earth after about 9 months from International Space Station.
Buch Wilmore, Nick Heg and Alexander Gorbunov of Russia along with Sunita Williams have also returned from the space station.
- Following the order of US President Donald Trump, the dragon spacecraft of Ilon Musk’s company Spacex was sent to the International Space Station on 15 March.
- In June 2024, Sunita Williams went to the space station on a mission of only 9 days but due to technical disturbances she had to stay there for 9 months.
7. Minister of State for India-Malaysia held bilateral meeting in New Delhi: On March 18, 2025, the Minister of State for India-Malaysia was held at the Commerce Building, New Delhi.
At the meeting, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasad (right) led India, while Lew Chin Tong (left) led Malaysia.
- In this meeting, both sides discussed bilateral trade issues, market access issues, cooperation in the semiconductor industry, cooperation in the service sector and issues related to Bureau of Indian Standards.
- Malaysia is India’s third largest trading partner in ASEAN.
8. A meeting of Indo-Netherland Defense Ministers held in New Delhi: On March 18, 2025, there was a meeting of Defense Ministers of India and Netherlands in New Delhi.
Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Netherlands Defense Minister Ruben Brakelmans attended the meeting.
- In this meeting, discussions were held between the two countries to increase bilateral cooperation in areas such as defense, security, information exchange, Hind-Pacific and new and emerging technologies.
