UPSC issued the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 notification on 22 January. The last date to apply in it is tomorrow i.e. 18 February 2025. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in. The last date to apply earlier was 11 February.
This year 979 posts are to be recruited. Apart from this, the notification of UPSC IFOS i.e. Indian Forest Service Recruitment has been released. 150 posts will be filled for forest service.
Window will be open till 6 pm on 18 February
UPSC has asked the Candidates of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2025 and Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam to submit all the necessary documents in its application form by 18 February. The window will be open till 6 pm on February 18 to upload the documents.
Now we will be able to do correction by 25 February
In addition, the Commission has increased the application correction window, so that candidates can do necessary corrections between 19 and 25 February. Earlier this correction could only be done from 12 to 18 February.
Changes in online application process
Online Candidates appealed to the Commission about technical problems in the application process. After this, UPSC has started the correction option in the Civil Service Prelims Exam Process.
According to the official notice, the candidates in the special field in One-Time Registration (OTR) process can now edit documents by visiting the correction window till the last date of the application.
Edit will be able to do these fields
- If the name has changed before (“Have you ever changed the name?”)
- Gender
- Cast certificate
- Class 10th roll number
There will be no change in these fields
- Name (Class 10th Certificate)
- Date of birth
- Father’s name
- Mother’s name
- Registered mobile number
- Registered email ID
Even after registration, you will be able to update mobile numbers
If the candidates who have lost their registered mobile number somewhere, the candidates can still use the email ID, the option of mobile number change can be given for them.
For this, an OTP will be sent on a verification email ID. Similarly, if there is no registered email ID, but the mobile number is still there, then candidates can update their email ID with OTP verification through their mobile number.

Commission also released helpline number
The Commission has also issued a helpline number for candidates. If there is a confusion or problem regarding the guideline, then candidates can take help by visiting the facility counter ‘C’ of UPSC Campus. Apart from this, telephone number 011-23385271 /011-23381125 can also be called.
