The Odisha Police Recruitment Board has recruited the posts of Sub Inspector, Station Officer and Assistant Jailor. The last date of application for this recruitment has been fixed today i.e. February 10. Candidates can apply online by visiting Odisha Police’s official website odishapolice.gov.in.
Ability :
- Candidates should be a citizen of India.
- Odia must be able to speak, read and write.
- The ME School or High Examination Pass with Odia subject or Non-Language subjects with Odia medium should be passed with HSC or equivalent examination or the written examination in Odia in ME School Standard conducted by Odisha.
- Disabled persons are not eligible to apply for these posts. At the same time, women and transgender candidates can apply only for the posts of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Jailor.
Educational qualification:
- Sub Inspector of Police, Sub Inspector of Police (Armed), Assistant Jailor: Bachelor Degree
- Station Officer (Fire Service): Science or Engineering Graduate
Edge Limit:
- The age of the candidates should be minimum 21 years and maximum 25 years on 1 January 2024.
- The upper age limit will be given for SC, ST, SEBC and women candidates 5 years.
- Ex -servicemen will be exempted from the entire period of service.
- In a situation where a candidate is eligible for age relaxation under more than one category, then the category will apply which gives him more benefit.

Salary:
35,400 rupees per month
