1. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Russia
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Russia on 9 December. He will be the chief guest at the commissioning ceremony of INS Tushil. Navy Chief Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi will also be present with him.
Indian Navy gave this information by tweeting on social media platform X on 6 December.
2. Fadnavis becomes Chief Minister of Maharashtra for the third time
A new government was formed in Maharashtra 13 days after the assembly results on 5 December. Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Chief Minister for the third time in 10 years. Former Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took oath as Deputy CM and is the second leader of the state to become Deputy CM after the CM.
In the first cabinet meeting, Devendra Fadnavis decided to provide assistance of Rs 5 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Medical Relief Fund for the treatment of Pune patient Chandrakant Shankar Kurhade.

1. Admission will be done twice a year in colleges and universities.
The University Grant Commission (UGC) has released the draft of new guidelines for UG studies on 5 December. According to this, students will be able to take admission for degree courses twice a year. Degree studies can be completed in more or less time. Higher education institutes can give degree students the option to complete the degree course in 3 to 4 years, 2 years or 5 years.
2. Agniveer recruitment candidates were taken away by garbage vehicle.
A video of Agniveer recruitment rally has surfaced in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. In this video, youth are being taken from the railway station in a garbage van for the Agniveer rally.
In this video that has gone viral on social media, it is clearly seen that these youth have been taken from the railway station to the stadium in a garbage van. In fact, between December 4 and 12, a rally is being organized for candidates of all categories in 33 districts of Chhattisgarh and these Agniveer were being taken there in a government garbage vehicle.
For this recruitment, not only were the firefighters taken to the stadium in a garbage van, but they were also made to sit in a line on the road. The candidates allege that the administration did not make any arrangements for their food nor did they provide drinking water.
3. 12th class student made a drone, demonstrated it by sitting on his own and flying it
Medhansh Trivedi, a 12th class student studying in a private school in Gwalior, has made a heavy duty drone. It has been inspired by China’s drone technology and Medhansh claims that it can lift human weight up to 80 kg. It cost Rs 3.5 lakh to make it and Medansh himself demonstrated it by sitting in it and flying it.
Drone maker Medhansh Trivedi is a 12th class student in a private school in Gwalior.
