Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal has been admitted to a hospital in Savar, a area in Dhaka due to chest pain on Monday morning. He was playing a severe chest pain when Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League match between Mohammadan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club in Tamim Savar.

According to the report, preparations were initially prepared to take Tamim to the hospital by helicopter but it could not be possible for some reasons. He was then admitted to a nearby Fazilatunnesa Hospital. At present, there is no official update about Tamim’s health.

Tamim retired from international cricket in January this year Tamim Iqbal retired from international cricket in January this year. This was the second time he said goodbye to his career. Tamim also retired from international cricket in July 2023, but changed his decision within 24 hours.

Tamim played his last match for Bangladesh in September 2023. He made his international debut in February 2007 with an ODI against Zimbabwe.
