The quarter-final match of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy between Madhya Pradesh and Saurashtra is being played in Aloor. Madhya Pradesh won the toss and decided to bowl.
Saurashtra, batting first, lost the first wicket on the score of one run. Tripuresh Singh has bowled Tarang Gohail.
The quarter-final matches of the country’s domestic T20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy are being played on Wednesday. All the matches are being played in Karnataka. Mumbai is the only team in the top-8 of this season, which has won a title in the last 5 seasons. Other teams from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu (twice) and Punjab, who were champions in these 5 seasons, have already been eliminated. A total of 38 teams were in the tournament. 3. Delhi: Won 5 consecutive matches, won the last match and entered top-8 The team started with wins in 5 consecutive matches. However, the team had to face defeat in the sixth match of the league stage. But by winning their last league match they made it straight to the quarter finals.
4. Uttar Pradesh: Defeated Andhra in pre-quarterfinals Finally reached the top-8. Qualified for the pre-quarterfinals with 5 wins and 2 losses in the group stage. There the team defeated Andhra by 4 wickets and made it to the next round.
5. Bengal: Scored two hat-tricks of victory in the league round. Started the tournament with a hat-trick of wins. But in its fourth match the team had to face defeat at the hands of Madhya Pradesh. However, the team then won 3 consecutive matches.
6. Baroda: Highest score made in the last league match Won 4 consecutive matches in the group stage. Lost one match, then won the next two matches and reached the quarter-finals as the team topper. Recorded a big win of 263 runs with the highest score (349 runs) in the last league match.
7. Saurashtra: Strong performance in last 5 league matches Reached the quarter-finals as the sixth team. After winning the first match, it had to face defeat at the hands of Gujarat in the second match, but in the last five league matches the team performed strongly and won all of them.
8. Madhya Pradesh: Reached quarter-finals after winning 4 consecutive matches. Madhya Pradesh team had made a great start by winning the first 2 matches in the group stage. Had to face defeat from Rajasthan in the third match, but after winning the next four consecutive matches the team reached the last-8.
