The Player of the Series was made in the Kusal Mendis ODI series.
Sri Lanka also defeated Bangladesh in the first match of the T20 series after defeating the ODI series. Sri Lanka chose bowling at Pallekele on Thursday. Bangladesh scored 154 runs losing 5 wickets. Sri Lanka achieved the target at the loss of 3 wickets in 19 overs.
Wicketkeeper Batter Kusal Mendis scored 73 runs from Sri Lanka. He received the Player of the Match Award for this performance. In bowling, spinner Mahish Tishta took 2 wickets.

Bangladesh’s strong start After losing the toss, Bangladesh got a strong start to Bangladesh to bat first. Parvez Hasan Imon and Tanjid Hasan Tamim took the team’s score to 46 runs by the 5th over. However, on the last ball of the same over, Tanjid was dismissed for 16 runs.

Finally, Avishka Fernando scored 11 and Charith Asanka scored 8 runs and won the team by 7 wickets in 19 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin, Mehdi Hasan Miraj and Rishad Hussain took 1-1 wickets for Bangladesh.
Sri Lankan openers partnered 78 runs.
Second T20 on 13 July Sri Lanka won the first T20 to take a 1-0 lead in the 3-match series. The second match will be played on July 13 and the third match will be played in Colombo on 16 July. Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh by a margin of ODI series 2–1 and Test series 1-0.
