South Africa defeated Zimbabwe by 5 wickets in the first T20 of the tri-series. Player of the Match Dewald Brevis scored 41 runs off 17 balls and won their team. Zimbabwe scored 141 runs in Harare on Monday. South Africa lost 5 wickets and achieved the target in the 16th over itself.

Zimbabwe’s poor start South Africa won the toss and chose bowling. Zimbabwe started poorly. Vesle Madhevere 1 and wicketkeeper Clin Madande returned to the pavilion after scoring 8 runs. Brian Bennett and Alexander Raza brought the team to 50 runs. Bennett was dismissed for 30 runs.
