Railway Recruitment Board i.e. RRB Exam 2024 dates have been extended and new dates have been released. Exam dates have been extended for RPF, SI, JE, Technician and other posts.
RRB released the notice on 21 November 2024. In which the exam schedule released on October 1, 2024 has been extended once again. The notification is on the official website of RRB. According to the extended exam schedule, CEN RPF 01/2024 RPF SI exam will start from December 2, 2024.
E-call letter 4 days before the exam will continue
The link to check exam center and date and download travel allowance for SC/ST candidates will be made live on the official website of RRB 10 days before the CEN exam date. Downloading of e-call letter, exam city and date information will start 4 days before the exam on the official website.
Candidates can check the new date like this
- Go to the official website of RRB.
- Click on RRB Exam Dates 2024.
- Go to Extend Notice home page.
- A new page will open where candidates can see the new exam dates.
- Download the page and save hard copy for future.
According to the official website, ‘Before entering the examination hall, biometric verification of the candidates linked to Aadhaar will be done at the exam center. For this, candidates will have to bring their original Aadhar card. Those candidates who have not yet verified themselves should register their identity through Aadhaar verification by logging in to www.rrbapply.gov.in with their credentials for entry in the Candidate Centre.
Exam schedule has been extended earlier also
RRB had extended the exam schedule earlier also. Earlier the dates of RPF SI, Technician and Junior Engineer exam were changed.
The RPF exam which was to be held between 2nd to 5th December was held from 2nd to 12th December.
The Technician exam, which was earlier scheduled to be held between 16 to 26 December 2024, was shifted from 18 to 29 December. Whereas JE which was for 6th to 13th December, was postponed from 13th to 17th December.
