Social Welfare Department, Bihar, Patna has announced recruitment for the posts of Anganwadi worker/assistant. Candidates can apply through online mode by visiting the official website patna.nic.in.
The appointment of the candidates will be from the time of joining till the age of 65 years. After this she herself will be relieved from service. Through this recruitment, 935 posts will be filled in various wards of Patna district.
If there is no eligible female candidate in the reserve category of the vacant ward, candidates from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Extremely Backward Class (including minorities), Backward Class (including minorities), General category will be selected.

- Anganwadi Sevika: 235 posts
- Anganwadi Assistant: 700 posts
- Total number of posts: 935
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass.
- Experience of working as an assistant for at least 5 years.
- Anganwadi helpers can also apply for the post of Sevika.
Age Limit :
- 18 – 35 years
- Must be a resident of the ward for which the application is made.
