In Uttarakhand, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department has announced recruitment for more than 6,500 posts of Anganwadi assistants and workers. Under this recruitment, there will be 6,185 posts for Anganwadi assistants and 374 posts for Anganwadi workers. Only female candidates can apply for these posts.
Two women from the same family will not be appointed to the posts of Anganwadi worker and assistant at any one Anganwadi centre.
Educational Qualification:
Anganwadi worker,
- 10th pass from recognized board
- For some posts, 12th pass is required.
Anganwadi assistant,
- 5th pass from recognized school
- 10th pass will be given preference.
Age Limit :
18 – 40 years
