Virat Kohli arrived in Vrindavan in Mathura the next day after retiring from Test cricket. On Tuesday morning, he met Premanand Maharaj at Kelly Kunj Ashram and took blessings. Wife Anushka Sharma is also with him. This was Virat Kohli’s third visit to Vrindavan.

Earlier, he came to Vrindavan on 4 January 2023 and 10 January 2025. He had met Premanand Maharaj both times. Virat Kohli stays at Hotel Radisson in Vrindavan. Premanand Maharaj’s ashram reached from here in the early hours of Tuesday.
Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket on Monday. Kohli wrote on Instagram- Test cricket took my test, gave me shape, taught the lesson that I will remember throughout my life.
Virat Kohli has played 123 Test matches. He scored 30 centuries and 31 half -centuries. Virat scored 7 double centuries. In 2017 and 2018, he was elected Test Player of the Year.

Virat asked- how do we have to live in failure? Virat-Anushka along with both children also came to meet Premanand Maharaj on 10 January 2025. Both of them had a spiritual discussion for about 30 minutes. Anushka sought blessings from Premanand Maharaj for devotion.
Then during the conversation, Virat asked, ‘How to get out of failure. Maharaj said, ‘Continue to practice, victory is certain. Move ahead keeping your practice continuously and under control. Just like chanting the name for me is a practice, so is cricket practice for you. Just keep taking the name of God in between.
Maharaj said- At that time we have to be patient while thinking about God. This is very difficult. In failure, someone smiles patiently, it is a big thing. Failure will not always be. If the day is the night, it will come, the day will come. We should patiently remember God. But this is very difficult, because the honor that is found in success is not found in failure.
He said, ‘Victory requires two things. One practice and the other destiny. If not destiny, only practice, then victory becomes difficult. For this, it is necessary to chant the name of God along with the knowledge of God.

Anushka had asked- last time we came, there were some questions in my mind, but I could not ask. I was talking to you in my heart. Someone used to ask the questions in my mind.
Premanand Maharaj said- Shreeji makes that arrangement. The biggest thing, we are giving happiness to the people by giving spiritual practice. And they give happiness to the whole of India in a game.
Anushka said- Give me love devotion. Maharaj said- We think devotion will have a special effect on you. There is nothing above devotion.
