A three-day TRAI Nation Belt Wrestling Cup was organized by Pathway Global Alliance in memory of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh in Rohtak district. Olympic players from three countries took part in the competition and demonstrated their talent.

Pathway Global Alliance member Varun Kashyap said that the purpose of organizing belt wrestling is to remember Shaheed Bhagat Singh. The youth should be informed about the martyrs. This is an attempt to pay tribute to those people, due to which we got freedom.

Varun Kashyap said that Olympic players from three countries are participating in the TRAI Nation Cup, including India, Russia and Uzbekistan. Players from these three countries are demonstrating their talent. This competition is being held in Rohtak because good wrestling players have come out of Rohtak and Rohtak’s name in wrestling.

Federation should be made for belt wrestling
Varun demanded the central government that the way a federation is for wrestling, similarly a federation should be made for belt wrestling. When the federation is formed, the trend of players towards belt wrestling will also increase. Players will also get better facilities.

92 players are participating in the competition
Varun said that 92 players from three countries are participating in the competition, including 40 players from India. 26 players from Uzbekistan and 26 players from Russia are also participating. The TRAI Nation Cup is currently being held in Rohtak. In future, it will also be organized in Punjab and other states. Competition will be held in Uzbekistan in June and then in Russia.
