Artificial Intelligence Startup Perplexity AI has offered to buy Google’s popular browser Chrome. The price of this offer is $ 34.5 billion i.e. about 3 lakh crore rupees. However, the company’s own valuation is around $ 18 billion.
Since this offering, CEO Arvind Srinivas of Perplexity is in constant discussion. Srinivas is considered an expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning.
During the PHD itself, Arvind did an internship in organizations such as Openai, Deepmind and Google, where he worked on reinforcement learning and large-scale learning models.

Arvind started his career as a research intern in Openai, San Francisco in 2018. Here he worked for 4 months. During this time, he did research on the policy gradient algorithm. Openai was doing early work on models like Chatgpt at that time.

Arvind joined Deepmind as an intern in 2019. He completed a 4 -month internship at the office in London. During this time he worked on Large-Skele Contrastitive Learning (CPCV2). This internship gave him expertise in large-scale AI models and deep learning techniques. Deepmind is Google’s AI Research Branch, which is known for Ultra-Modern AI projects.

In 2020, Arvind joined Google in California. Here he worked for 1 year. During this time he worked on vision transformer models such as bottleneck transformers and halonet. He also contributed to Sota (State-of-the-the -art) vision models such as copy-paste augmentation and resanet-RS.

Perplexity, led by Arvind, built a similar AI -run browser in 2025, whose name is COMAT (COMET). This browser works on AI technology. Perplexity company offers many features like auto-reversion in this web browser, which is not currently in Google Chrome.
Google Chrome on top in browser case
In the case of browser, no one has been able to back down Google Chrome. According to the 2025 report, it is estimated that more than 3.45 billion users use it. This browser of Google is present for all operating systems Windows, Mac, Android. Users like it with Google Chrome’s safety wall.
