World No. 1 Sabalenka won the quarterfinal despite losing the first set.
World No-1 Arena Sabalanka made it to the semi-finals on Tuesday in Wimbledon. He made a comeback after losing the first set in the quarter -finals against Laura Sigmund of Germany and won the match. World No. 5 Taylor Fritz also won the quarter-finals in Mains Singles.
Taylor Fritz reaches semi -finals In Mains Singles, World No-5 Taylor Fritz of America won the semi-finals by winning the match in 4 sets. He defeated Karen Kachnov of Russia 6-3, 6-4, 1-6, 7-6 (7-4) in the quarter-finals. He will now face the winner of the quarter -finals between Cameron Nori and Carlos Alkaraj.
Taylor Fritz may clash with Spain’s Carlos Alkaraz in the semi -finals.
Number-1 pair won in Mains Doubles Argentina’s Marcello Arewalo and Croatia’s Matt Pavich’s world number-1 pair entered the semi-finals. Both defeated the pair of Idord Roger Vaseline of France and Hugo Naus of Monaco 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (10-5) of France.
The pair of Rinke Hijikata of Australia and David Pale of Netherlands also won the quarter -finals. The two defeated the pair of Rafael Matos and Marcello Mello of Brazil by a margin of 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 to enter the semi-finals.
Sabalanka reached the semi -finals In Women’s Singles, World No. 1 Belarus’s Arena Sabalanka entered the semi-finals. He won the quarter -finals despite losing the first set against Laura Sigmund of Germany. Sigmund won the first set of 6-4. Sabalanka won the remaining 2 sets by a margin of 6-2, 6-4 and won the match.
Arena Sabalenka has not been able to play Wimbledon Finals so far.
World No-16 pair lost in Women’s Doubles The quarter -finals of Women’s Doubles saw upside down. The US Dzare Kravajik and Australia’s Olivia Gadeki defeated the pair of Caroline Dolehyde and Sophia Kenin of the US 6–2, 6-3.
