- NTA Wrote In The Notice That Due To Maha Kumbh, Now The Exam Center Will Be Varanasi And Not Prayagraj; Exam Will Start From January 28

National Testing Agency (NTA) has now shifted the center of examination for JEE Mains 2025 Session-1 to Prayagraj Exam Center on 28, 29 and 30 January 2025 to Varanasi. The Commission gave this information by issuing a notice on 23 January 2025.
Commission said- candidates were demanding
According to the Commission, many candidates had complained that due to the large number of devotees in Mahakumbh, it has become impossible for them to go to Prayagraj Exam Centre. Therefore the center should be changed.
The Commission has released the admit cards of JEE Mains 2025 Session-1 on January 23 itself.
Exam will be held on 28, 29 and 30 January
Due to this, the center of the examination to be held in Prayagraj on 28, 29 and 30 January has been shifted to Varanasi. Candidates can download their JEE Mains 2025 admit card through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in with their application number and password.
The admit card will include information like name of the candidates, exam date and new exam centre.
More than 13 lakh students will appear for the exam
JEE Mains Session 1 exam is starting from January 22. This year, a record number of more than 13 lakh students are going to appear in the examination. The exam will be conducted in two shifts from 9 to 12 in the morning and 3 to 6 in the afternoon. According to the admit card, candidates will have to reach the exam center at 7:30 am for the first shift and at 2 pm for the second shift.
NTA has not issued any special dress code for students, but mail and feesmale students Keep these things in mind before reaching the exam center – Male students
- Do not wear any metal item.
- Do not wear a cap, muffler or scarf.
- Do not wear bracelet, ring or jewellery.
- Also avoid wearing thick soled shoes.
female students
- Do not wear stole, dupatta or scarf.
- Do not wear chain, ring or jewellery.
- Do not wear goggles or any metal object.
Photo and ID card required at the center
Students will have to reach the exam center with these 3 important documents-
- exam admit card
- Original photo ID
- Passport size 2 photographs
Do not arrive with study material To avoid any problem, do not bring these things to the exam center-
- mobile phone
- smart watch
- books or notes
