The data of the survey shows that Chennai is at the forefront of giving the best salary to freshers. The average salary for freshers here is Rs 30,100/- per month. At the same time, Hyderabad is at the forefront with 69,700/- average salary for 5 to 8 years of experience.
Cost of living is becoming a problem
Most of the professionals say that despite good salary, it is difficult to run their monthly expenses from salary. 69% of people say that their salary does not match their city’s cost of living.
The number is 96% in Delhi, 95% in Mumbai, 94% in Pune and 93% in Bengaluru, as these cities have more expenses every day. People say that due to more rent, reelocation expenses and other stress in big cities, they want to work in their city.
