According to the recently released QS World University Rankings 2026, IIT Delhi is the best for studies in the country. In this list, IIT is Delhi’s global ranking 123. IIT Delhi is usually known for BTech, MTECH. Now to make their courses diversions, short-term, certificate, diploma and interdisciplinary undergraduate programs will be included in the institutes.
These new courses have been created keeping in mind the new and emerging needs of the industry. Along with this, this will bring flagging in the learning of students.
Btech in design
This is a 4 -year degree course. It combines creativity with technology. In this, students will be told about industrial, communication and interaction design. This course comes under IIT Delhi Department of Design.
In this, there will be admission through UCEED instead of JEE Advance.
Bs in chemistry
This 4 -year course comes under the Department of Chemistry. This course is taught about Foundational and Advanced Chemical Sciences. With this, students can make a career in research, pharmaceuticals and other such fields. It is admitted through JEE Advance.
Certificate in Finance for Non-Finance Professionals
This is a 6 -month certificate course. Its purpose is to teach finance and management skills to students with non-finance background. Students who have graduated in non-finance fields or are working in non-finance fields can apply for it. Its fee will be Rs 1.50 lakh.
Certificate in Supply Chain Management
This certificate course will be 6 months. This course can be done to understand modern supply chain systems, logistics and operations. Graduates and mid-level professions can do this course. Its fee is Rs 1,50,000.
Certificate in Semi-Conductor Technology and Manufacturing
This is a 6 -month certificate. It will be taught about semi-conductor fabrication, micro-electronics and VLSI design. People starting a career in the field of engineers, science graduates and electronics can do this course. Its fee will be Rs 1.50 lakh.
MTECH and PHD Program (IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi)
These are both post-graduate degree programs. It will be 2 years old MTECH. These programs are being started at the campus of Abu Dhabi, IIT Delhi. Candidates who have cleared gate with graduation or post-graduation can apply it.
