The Nepal government has issued advisory to its citizens to accept job offers in India. The Nepal government said that if you are going to work in India, then be cautious and avoid getting trapped in the clutches of criminals.

In fact, recently 60 people from India’s Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Bihar have been rescued. They were brought here on the pretext of the job and they were given bonded labor here and kept under inhuman conditions.

They were rescued by Indian officials, NGO employees and India -based Nepal Embassy officials. There were some minors among the people brought by the deception.

‘Got full support from Indian agencies’

Nepal’s ambassador Shankar P Sharma in India said, ‘Kathmandu has issued an advisory for citizens in which he has been asked to be alert about job offers from India. Indian agencies fully supported us to rescue Nepali citizens.

It is believed that thousands of Nepali are still stranded in India. It is being investigated. Soon the rest of the people will also be rescued.

Last week, 57 Nepali citizens were rescued from Uttarakhand. These included 12 minors.

Uttarakhand Police’s significant contribution to rescue

Uttarakhand home secretary Shailesh Bagauli said, ‘In such cases the Uttarakhand government has always stood with neighboring countries like Nepal and will continue to stand even further. We will take all the steps so that there is no such case in our state in the coming time.

Uttarakhand police say that these people were brought here under the guise of the marketing firm. They were taken hostage in the houses seen from mangoes of Rudrapur and Kashipur. They were told that they are being taken for packaging or for accountant work but they were beaten up here and were asked to bring other people from Nepal.

Uttarakhand police reached a house in Kashipur during a raid. Here 35 youths were sitting in an empty room. All the windows of the room were closed and they were blocked by bedsheets.

There was a pile of plastic plates in one corner of the room where the old rice was stinking for hours. No hostage said anything during this whole incident. When a policeman put his hand on the shoulder of one of them, he said, ‘You guys are safe now’, some of the hostages started crying.

Police had called the fleeing mortgage

One of the Nepalese hostages built in Kashipur ran away and reached Nepal and told the police there. Only after this Nepali police, NGO and Uttarakhand police became active and conducted a rescue operation. The running hostage was brought back to India and helped the police in this entire rescue. He brought the police to the rest of the hostages.

The fleeing hostage said that as soon as these people come to India, phones, money, etc. are taken away from them and they are taken hostage. After this, they were beaten up and taken hostage and they were pressurized to call them to trap in other Nepali youth.
