Indian javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra’s Paris Olympics T-shirt has been included in the World Athletics Heritage Collection. Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Neeraj had won the silver medal in the Paris Olympic Games that ended last month.
26-year-old Neeraj won the silver medal in the Paris Olympic Games held in August this year. He had a season best throw of 89.45 metres. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won the gold medal with a throw of 92.97 meters. Neeraj won the gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Of these, Neeraj Chopra, Sushil Kumar and PV Sindhu won these medals in two consecutive Olympic Games. Whereas Manu Bhakar won two bronze medals in shooting in the same Paris Olympics.
First Indian to win gold in World Athletics Championship The first Indian player to win a gold medal in the World Athletics Championship. He had won the gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest last year. Earlier, he had won the silver medal at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene.
Created history by winning gold on Olympic debut After excellent performance in the junior and senior circuits, Neeraj qualified for the Tokyo Olympics. In the very first Olympics, he threw a javelin throw of 87.58 meters and won the gold medal. Won silver medal in the World Finals in 2022 and gold medal in 2023.
