Neeraj Chopra threw more than 90 meters in the Doha Diamond League held in May. He first secured 90 meters mark.
India’s star Javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the Diamond League-2025 final. Neeraj qualified for the match to be held on August 27 and 28 in Zurich, Switzerland, with 15 points in the final table after the Silesia phase.
Neeraj, 27, did not participate in the Silesia round of Poland on 16 August. However, he threw a 90.23 meter career best throw in the Doha Diamond League in May and finished second. Neeraj then finished first in the Paris Diamond League by throwing 88.16 meters in June.
An official of the Athletics Federation of India Dainik Bhaskar Told it- ‘According to the information so far Neeraj is perfectly fit and he will participate in the Diamond League final.’ Currently, Neeraj Chopra is training in the Czech Republic.
Neeraj Chopra is third with 15 points. In this list, Keshorn Walcot (17 points) is first and Julian Weber (15) is in second place. After the Brussels round, the athletes, who live on the top-6 in the final table, will qualify for the Diamond League final in Zurich.
