The first match of the Test series is being played between Pakistan and West Indies in Multan. On the second day of the match on Saturday, Pakistan has taken a lead of 202 runs in its second innings. Kamran Ghulam and Saud Shakeel returned not out from the team.

On Saturday itself, Pakistan could score 230 runs in its first innings. Whereas the West Indies team was reduced to 137 runs. In which spinner Noman Ali from Pakistan took 5 wickets and Sajid Khan took 4 wickets. The third day’s play will start at 10 am on Sunday.

Shakeel-Rizwan hit fifty Pakistan started playing on the second day with a score of 143/4. Saud Shakeel led his innings with a score of 56 and Mohammad Rizwan with a score of 51 runs. Both of them made a partnership of 141 runs and took the score close to 200. Shakeel was out after scoring 84 runs and Rizwan after scoring 71 runs.

After losing 5 wickets for 187 runs, Pakistan lost the next 5 wickets to score 43 runs. Spinner Jomel Warrican and pacer Jaden Seales took 3 wickets each from West Indies. Kevin Sinclair got 2 wickets and Gudakesh Moti got 1 wicket. There was a batsman runout.

The bowlers again took West Indies beyond 100 runs. Sinclair scored 11 runs, Moti 19, Warrican 31 and Seals scored 22 runs and took the team’s score to 137 runs. Noman Ali took 5 wickets and Sajid Khan took 4 wickets from Pakistan. Abrar Ahmed also got 1 success.

Huraira was out after scoring 29 runs. Babar Azam flopped in the second innings also, he was out after scoring only 5 runs. He had scored 8 runs in the first innings. Jomel Warrican took both the wickets.

Captain Masood was set, but was run out after scoring 52 runs. The team lost the third wicket on the score of 106 runs. Till the end of the day’s play, Kamran Ghulam remained not out after scoring 9 runs and Saud Shakeel remained not out after scoring 2 runs. By scoring 109 runs, Pakistan has taken a lead of 202 runs in the second innings.

Rain became a hindrance on the first day On Friday, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. Due to rain only 41.3 overs could be played. The home team scored 143 runs losing 4 wickets. Top-4 batsmen could not do anything special. Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan scored fifties and took control of the team.
