1. PM Modi laid the foundation stone of a project worth Rs 5700 crore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi installed the Kalash for Prayagraj Mahakumbh today i.e. on 13th December. Besides, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 167 projects worth Rs 5700 crore.
These projects belong to the Railway Ministry of the Central Government and various departments of the State Government. During this, PM also launched ‘Kumbh Sah’AI’yak Chatbot’. This AI chatbot is capable of chatting in 11 languages.
In this ceremony, Prime Minister Modi was accompanied by UP Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
2. Defense Ministry signs deal worth Rs 13,500 crore with HAL
The Defense Ministry has signed a deal worth Rs 13,500 crore with the country’s leading government company Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to buy 12 Sukhoi jets. 62.6 percent of the aircraft will be made of domestic material. The Defense Ministry gave this information by tweeting on social media platform X on December 12.
These aircraft will be manufactured at the Nashik division of HAL.

1. 52,452 Group D recruitments in Rajasthan, opportunity for 10th pass
Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) has issued recruitment notification for more than 52 thousand posts of class IV. In this, 46,931 vacancies are for non-scheduled area and 5,522 posts are for scheduled area.
Candidates can apply by visiting the website of Rajasthan Staff Selection Commission, rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in. The examination for this recruitment will be conducted from 8 to 21 September 2025.

2. Recruitment for 2129 posts of senior teacher in Rajasthan
Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications for the posts of Senior Teacher. The Commission has made these appointments for the Secondary Education Department. Candidates can visit the official website rpsc. You can apply online by visiting rajasthan.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation degree.
- Knowledge of Hindi (Devanagari script) and culture of Rajasthan.
Age Limit :
- 18 – 40 years
- Women belonging to general category will be given a relaxation of 5 years.
- Men belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Most Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section of Rajasthan will be given a relaxation of 5 years.
- Women belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class, Most Backward Class and Economically Weaker Section of Rajasthan will be given a relaxation of 10 years.

1. 49 candidates selected in UPSC IES, ISS
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final result of IES and ISS. The results of IES i.e. Indian Economic Service and ISS i.e. Indian Statistical Service can be seen on the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.
51 posts are to be filled through this recruitment. Of these, 18 posts are of IES and 33 posts are of ISS. However, only 31 posts of ISS have been filled in the final result.
It has been said in the official notice that due to lack of eligible candidates with PwBD i.e. benchmark disability, 2 vacancies have been kept vacant. The list of all passed candidates is given in the notice.2.
2. Students attacked class teacher in Bahraich
Students of class 11 at Navyug Inter College, Mihinpurwa in Bahraich district of UP attacked their class teacher with a knife. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed in the classroom.
In fact, despite mobile phones being banned in the school, class teacher Rajendra Prasad Verma had confiscated the mobile phones of the students when they brought phones. The teacher also returned the phone to his parents during vacation. Angered by this entire incident, three students attacked the class teacher in a planned manner to take revenge. The injured teacher has currently been admitted to the hospital.
3. 1000 IAS posts vacant
According to Union Minister Jitendra Singh, currently 1000 posts in IAS and 500 in IPS are vacant. Whereas recruitment has not been done on 1042 posts in Indian Forest Services, Jitendra Singh has given this information in Rajya Sabha.
