Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has announced his retirement from T20 international cricket. The 35 -year -old Stark has taken the decision to prioritize Australia’s busy Test cricket schedule starting in late 2026 and the ODI World Cup to be held in 2027.

Focus on test and ODI Stark said that Test cricket has always been his first priority. Australia’s Test schedule has been very busy since mid -2026, including domestic series against Bangladesh, tour of South Africa, four Test series against New Zealand, five Tests in India in January 2027, a special Test of 150th anniversary in Melbourne against England, and then in England in 2027.
