Mitchell Owen made a T20 debut against the West Indies on 20 July this year.
The 3 -match ODI series against South Africa was out of Australia’s 3 players due to injury. Mitchells were engaged during batting in the second T20 against Oven Protiaz. At the same time, Lance Morris and Matthew got out in short practice and got out.
Cricket Australia (CA) replaced the three players Aaron Hardy, Cooper Konoli and Matthew Kuhneman. The ODI series will be played from August 19. The last match of the T20 series between the two teams is yet to be played on 16 August.

Morris and short also injured Fast bowler Lance Morris and batsman Matthew Short will also not be able to play ODI series due to injury. During the practice, Morris felt stretch in his back, due to which he would not be able to return to international cricket at the moment. Morris has returned to Perth for treatment. He is also finding it difficult to play a 4-day unofficial Test against India-A next month due to injury.
Matthew Short has not yet emerged from the stretch during the series in the West Indies. Due to this injury, he was out of the T20 series against South Africa and could not be a part of the ODI series. In the same year, during the Champions Trophy, he suffered a leg injury, after which he has been continuously injured.

T20 series 1-1 equal South Africa won the second T20 match by 53 runs on August 12 and equaled 1-1 in the 3-match series. The first match was won by Australia by 17 runs. The third match will be played on 16 August at Carns. It will also be the first match of the ODI series on August 19. Then on 22 and 24 August, McAi will have the last 2 ODIs.
