New Zealand’s opening batsman Martin Guptill retired from international cricket on Wednesday. He is the first batsman to score a double century in the World Cup. Guptill played an inning of 237 runs against West Indies in the 2015 World Cup.
Guptill has scored the most runs for the Kiwis in T20 International. He is currently captaining for Auckland Aces in the Dream11 Super Smash tournament. He said in an interview given to New Zealand Cricket, playing for the Blackcaps for 14 years was the biggest honour.
