1. FIFA suspended Pakistan Football Federation
FIFA, an organization operating football in the world, has suspended the Pakistan Football Federation (PF). The International Football Federation (FIFA) said- ‘Pakistan will remain suspended until PF makes necessary changes in its constitution. Since June 2019, a committee in Pakistan was operating football which was appointed by FIFA. This committee was tasked with holding elections and changing the football structure of the country, but they failed.
This is the third time since 2017 when the Pakistan Football Federation was suspended.
1. Modi cabinet approves new income tax bill
The Union Cabinet approved the new income tax bill on 7 February. This bill will replace the IT Act enacted in the 6 decade old year 1961. Its motive is to improve the existing tax structure system.

1. Cuet PG 2025 Registration Last date today
Today is the last date for registration in Cuet PG 2025. The last date to apply in it was earlier 1 February 2025, which was extended to 8 February. This examination conducts the National Testing Agency.
Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website exam.nta.ac.in for Cuet PG 2025. Candidates can register by going to exams.nta.ac.in/Cuet-pg till 8 February.
Candidates can pay its fees by 9 February. Apart from this, its correction window will be opened between 10 to 12 February. These exams will be taken at 312 centers for 157 subjects. Of which 27 centers will be outside India.

2. Registration starts for NEET-OG 2025
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 examinations on 7 February. This time the exam will be on the old pattern.
According to the NEET UG 2025 exam calendar, this exam will be held on May 4 from 2 pm to 5 pm. NTA has opened the registration window to apply. The last date to register will be March 7. Candidates can register by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
3. IBPS So Main Results released
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the result of Specialist Officer (SO) Mains Exam on 7 February.
Candidates can check and download the result by visiting the official website ibps.in. They have to use login credentials to check the result. Candidates will be able to download the scorecard from 7-14 February.
