Jose Butler will return to England on 26 May to play an ODI series against the West Indies.
Punjab Kings, Lucknow Supergiants and Gujarat Titans announced the replacement player before the second phase of the IPL started. Kyle Jaimison of New Zealand, William O’Rurek and Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis will be seen playing the rest of the matches. Johnny Bairstow of England can play from Mumbai Indians in the playoffs.
The second phase of IPL will start from May 17. The tournament was stopped for 8 days in view of the tension situation between Indo-Pak. The last match was played between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals on 8 May.
Jaimison will replace Lockie Ferguson Punjab Kings instead of New Zealand fast bowler Locky Ferguson included his own country’s Pacer Kyle Jaimison. Ferguson was out of the tournament due to Hamstring injury. Jaimison became a part of Punjab for Rs 2 crore.
Lockie Ferguson could play IPL matches this season 4.
Kusal Mendis will play playoffs Gujarat Titans instead of Jose Butler included wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis in the squad. Butler will return to his country to play with the England team on 26 May. GT’s last league stage match will be from Chennai on 25 May. If the Titans reached the playoffs, Kusal Mendis will be seen playing the place of Butler in the team. They were included at a price of Rs 75 lakh.
Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Batter Kusal Mendis has not been able to debut IPL yet.
Mayank Yadav again out Lucknow Supergiants fast bowler Mayank Yadav once again dropped out of the tournament. The team replaced the team William O’Rurek of New Zealand. Mayank is struggling with injury in the back. O’Rurek was purchased for a price of 3 crores.
Mayank Yadav could play only 6 IPL matches in the last 2 seasons.
Bairstow can replace Will Jacks Mumbai Indians all -rounder Will Jacks will also return to England on 26 May. If the Mi makes a place in the playoffs, the team can include Johnny Bairstow in place of Jacks. Bairstow, who played 50 IPL matches, was unsold in the mega auction.

Players will not be able to retain IPL said in the new advisory that franchise players can take replacement for second phase. However, whatever player will be part of the squad, teams will not be able to retain them before the next season. That is, O’Rurek, Mendis, Jaimison and Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh will enter the mini auction before the next season. Mustafizur was made part of the team by Delhi in place of Jack Fraser Magark.
League stage will run till 27 May The second phase of the IPL will run from 17 to 27 May. In 11 days, 13 matches of league stage will be played, including 2 double headers. On 29 and 30 May, there will be qualifier-1 and eliminator. On June 1, the final will be played on qualifier-2 and 3 June. The venue of the playoff match is not yet decided.
