1. Now prepaid card holders will also be able to make UPI payments
On December 27, RBI announced that now prepaid card holders will also be able to make UPI payments. With this decision, UPI can be used for payments through prepaid payment instruments (PPI) like gift cards, metro rail cards and digital wallets. For this, third party mobile app will have to be used.
2. Dr. Sandeep Shah becomes the new President of NABL
On December 27, the Central Government appointed Dr. Sandeep Shah as the Chairman of NABL. The full name of NABL is National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories. He met the present Chairman Prof. Replaced Subbana Ayyappan.
Dr. Shah is a renowned medical professional. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, pathology and diagnostics.

1. RPSC 2025 exam calendar released
RPSC has released the examination calendar for the year 2025. According to the RPSC calendar, there will be 162 examinations in the new year for recruitment to 31 different posts and departments. The examinations will start from January 19. You can check the complete datesheet at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

2. Khan sir who came to support BPSC candidates was chased away
Khan sir, who came to support the BPSC candidates who were protesting in Patna, was accused by the students of hijacking the protest. After this Khan sir had to flee from the protest site.
