Suruchi Phogat, daughter of village Sasarauli in Jhajjar district, won her second bronze medal at the Mixed event on Wednesday at the Asian Shooting Championship held in Shimkant, Kazakhstan. Apart from this, Saurabh Chaudhary of Baghpat has also won the bronze medal with him.

6 medals won in National Championship
Suruchi was born on 28 April 2006 in village Sasarauli in Jhajjar district. His father is retired from the post of Havildar from Indra Phogat Army. Suruchi started shooting from 2019. Suruchi won the first medal in the National Championship in 2022, with 6 medals, 2 gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal.
Apart from this, Suruchi won a gold and a bronze medal in the World Cup 2025 held in Argentina at the International National Shooting Games. In which gold was won in individuals. Prior to that, he has won two gold medals in the National Games in 2025. Suruchi has won 30 medals so far.

On winning the medal, Suruchi Phogat’s father Indra Phogat said that he is proud of the daughter and now Suruchi is waiting for coming. He told that Suruchi has taken many big names in a short time.
