Mahesh Tikshana reached the best ranking of his ODI career.
Sri Lankan bowler Mahesh Tikshana has broken into the top three of the ICC men’s one-day rankings for the first time. The right-arm off-spinner took a total of seven wickets in two consecutive ODIs for Sri Lanka in New Zealand. Tikshana took a hat-trick in the first ODI match played in Hamilton. In this he took a total of 4 wickets for 44 runs.
Tikshna has 663 points. Whereas Rashid Khan remains on top with 669 points. Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav remains on top-2. While Jasprit Bumrah has lost one place, he has moved up to seventh position.
