Jasprit Bumrah took 32 wickets in 5 tests against Australia.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has won the ICC Player of the Month award for his December performance. ICC had also nominated South African bowler Dan Patterson and Australian captain Pat Cummins along with him.
Australia’s Annabel Sutherland received this award among women’s cricketers. In the women’s category, India’s Smriti Mandhana and South Africa’s Ann Malaba were also in the race. Sutherland took 9 wickets in 5 matches and also scored 269 runs.
Bumrah took 22 wickets in 3 matches Jasprit Bumrah played 3 Tests against Australia in December. In these he took 22 wickets in his name. He took 18 wickets in Melbourne and Brisbane.
