The Indian Sports Ministry on Thursday announced the National Sports Awards 2024. According to this announcement, 34 players will be honored with the Arjuna Award. In which the name of young hockey player Sukhjit Singh of the Indian hockey team from Jalandhar, Punjab is also included.

Sukhjit Singh’s father works as a Sub-Inspector in Punjab Police. He expressed happiness over his son’s achievement. Sukhjeet’s father Ajit Singh, posted as Sub-Inspector in Punjab Police, said – Punjab’s son is getting a reward. The family has demanded from the Chief Minister to give job to the son on the post of DSP.
