The Indian pair of Borsce and Arjun Babuta won the gold medal by defeating the Chinese pair 17-7 at the 10m air rifle mixed event in the World Cup.

The Indian pair of Arya Borsse and Arjun Babuta gave India the second gold at the ISSF (International Shoots Federation) World Cup being played in Berlin on Saturday.

He won the gold medal by defeating China’s Jifai Wang and Lihao Sheng 17–7 at the mixed event of 10 meter air rifle. Norway’s gennet Hague Dustad and John-Harman Hague won the bronze medal by defeating the USA’s Segain Madalena and Peter Matthew Fiory 16–14.

Borsse and Babu secured their place in the final with 635.2 in qualification Borsse and Babuta secured the place for the final with the first 635.2 qualification score. He finished second. Babuta scored 317.7 in the qualification while Borsce scored 317.5. Another Indian pair, Elavenil Valarivan and Ankush Jadhav, finished sixth in qualification with a score of 631.8. Earlier this year, Borsce won the silver medal with Rudraksha Patil at the 10m air rifle mixed team event in the World Cup in Lima, Peru.
