Wicketkeeper batsman Tom Latham was injured during the net practice.
New Zealand’s wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Latham has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against Pakistan due to injury. His right hand is fractured during practice.
In his place batsman Henry Nichols has been included in the team. In the absence of Latham, Michael Bracewell will take command of the team. Both teams will clash in the 3 -match ODI series from 29 March. The last match of the series will be played on 5 April.
Tom was injured during net practice Actually, Latham was hurt while batting on the net this week. After X-rays it was revealed that he had a fracture in his hand. New Zealand Cricket told that, they have to stay away from the field at least four weeks.

Tom Latham has played 157 ODIs so far.
Henry will replace Nicole, return from home tournament Henry Nichols has played 78 ODIs so far. He has returned from domestic cricket by creating five half -centuries in six innings after his quite injury. He will bat in this match instead of Latham.
Batsman Will Young also out of second-third match Meanwhile, opener Will Young will be out of the second and third ODIs to live with his pregnant wife Jennifer Birmingham. Young will play the first match of the series in Napier on Saturday. After which he will be replaced by Cantorbury’s new batsman Rice Mariu, who has been included in the team for the first time.

Will Young have scored 4 centuries in 45 ODIs.
New Zealand named T20 series New Zealand defeated Pakistan by 8 wickets in the 5th and last match of the T20 series. After which the team won the series 4–1. On Wednesday, the Kiwi team in Wellington got a target of 129 runs for 2 wickets in 10 overs. Pakistan scored 128 runs in 20 overs at the loss of 9 wickets.
